I needed more hard drive space in my computer, so I purchased the Seagate 2tb internal hard drive. I installed it myself. There was a shelf already in my computer, above the original hard drive, that this hard drive would fit. What I did not like was that there were no mounting screws that came with it. Best buy did not sell mounts or mounting screws for it, and this was problematic. I found screws at home that worked, and luckily there was already a bracket in my computer, but I would have been left out in the cold if I would have needed those items. As far as how the drive works, it has been flawless, allowing me to transfer many files to the new drive. It was also very easy to set up. I am giving it 4 stars because of no mounting screws or brackets.

I purchased this hard drive to replace a crashed one. Easy install, reasonably fast to load with my recovered data and programs, and has performed very well.

Used this to replace a 2TB that was slowing down and dropping errors. I cloned all the data over to this drive, so within a day this drive found itself at 60-70% capacity. Still performs like a champ, running beautifully fast, especially across a network. Recommend!

I preferred the boot up speed of the SSD that I had before. I don't have any issues with this hard drive. It's great and can handle a lot more of the unnecessary items that clog up a primary hard drive. Unlike the SSD which was to small and filled up quickly.

I have found my self replacing other brand hard drives more and more, yet to the best of my memory, I have not replaced a seagate drive due to a defect for about 3 years or more now. Is a seagate drive the be all and end all of hard drives?, no, even though Seagate people would love for you to believe that, but, if you want a good drive at a great deal that will provide you with great service, you can do a whole lot worse than to use a Seagate drive. Oh, if you ever do have a problem with a Seagate drive while it is in warranty, support is great too.

I message popped up on my computers screen letting me know the hard drive was close to failing. I jumped in my car and stopped at best buy. This hard drive was on sale. Double the memory of the failing drive for half off. I had to buy it. No problems since instal.

The hard drive in my HP Envy went wacky after 22 months. The agent from Geek Squad picked this hard drive for me after I told him I wanted something fast. So far it's been great. I hope it last longer than the one that came with the computer.

Seagate drives have, from my long-term customer, always rated high in speed tests. True, some review sites show a lower lifespan. I've not had any premature or in-warranty failures, though that can happen with any brand to anyone at any time.

I have bought several Seagate hard drives and all have performed well. I am more of a Western Digital customer but buy Seagate drives because they are usually a bit cheaper and work well.

My personal Seagate has lasted 3 years so far with no issues. Keep in mind please that no hard drive will last if you do not have a battery backup. (APC UPS) Power going out or moving the computer while it is running can and will ruin the hard drive.

Haven't had any issues, works fine! Very easy to install, only took a few moments. Large storage for the price. Same unit that came with my hp desktop.

Great hard drive, was easy to set up, I use it as a replacement for an external drive that gave out, was plug and play. No issues so far has great speed

I bought this to replace my main HD due to size limitations. The Seagate drive was easy to install and configure. I added a second HD for backup purposes and both drives are working fine. I have been very satisfied with Segate products.

Switched to Seagate HD's many years ago to replace Western Digital HD's who at that time seemed to have a high rate of failure. Have not had a problem with any of Seagate's internal or external HD's. They install easily and last many years.

I upgraded my drive in my computer to have more space. This drive is fast and quiet.. This was a great purchase. 2TB this is great.. I really like this drive. I think I may get another one for my other computer.

Hard drive was easy to install, quick to load. For the price, it was an excellent choice to replace my crashed 1.5 SATA drive.

Bought this hard drive as a replacement for my sons computer, who's hard drive had died suddenly. He uses it for college studies and gaming. He says it works fine. installation was easy. reinstalling windows was not to much of a chore.

I needed an internal memory for my security cameras system, and Austin and Rodrigo from computer department recomended me this internal memory that worked great on my system. And I got it on sale. Thanks to Austin and Rodrigo!!

It was a great upgrade from my 1tb drive that i quickly filled up with all my steam games, was very impressed with the speed of this HDD and really recommend it, if you on the fence with another drive choose this one for sure!!
