Seagate - 2TB Internal Serial ATA Hard Drive, also bought expansion bay for PS4, work well together.

Im going to start by saying i know that seagate has been getting a bad rap lately but that seems to only be with the 3TB Models and this is the 2TB so ignore those reviews. This is also a consumer-level drive so dont expect enterprise-level longevity from it Pros- Not DOA (technically Not Dead off the shelf) Seagate brand (been using seagate for many years, never actually had a drive die (knock on wood) Good price to storage ratio (Paid $81) Cons- Little slow on the loading times for most games (didnt buy it for that though, already had a Seagate SSD) Finally the same Con i have with every hard drive ill ever own. Its not if it will fail, its when... So in review, great price, great drive, great company, just dont put all your eggs in one basket

This was a birthday gift for my husband. My husband does a lot of recording and he is pleased with the storage space. But spent a little time getting it into the tower.

I purchased this to replace a crashed WD in my desk top. The install was easy and it came with the cables. I did not use the software that came with the hdd. I did a clean install of Windows 8.1 and it worked with no problems.

This HDD does exactly what it's supposed to. The transfer speeds are acceptable at the very least. I bought this HDD in order to organize and build my digital library of movies, videos, music and pictures. Setting it up was as easy as could be for an internal HDD. Just place it in the mounting brackets, plug in the SATA and power cables, then initialize the drive through device manager and you have 2TB of storage you didn't have before! I went a step further and after setting all of my media on it, I used Tonido (of Tonido.com) to allow my family access to folders on the drive such as pictures and music. It's a great, durable and power saving little device at a decent price!

Great price. Installed easily. Replaces a smaller drive. Easily made and image of the old drive and restored onto the new drive.

I have purchased several brands of harddrives over the years and whether SCSI, IDE, or SATA the Seagate drives outlive their host computers. Have stopped buying the best available and instead demand the Seagate

In my experience so far this is an all around solid hard drive. Install is super simple, windows 8 has no problems with seeing a 2 TB drive. The drive is very quiet, which was a relief to me since in the past I have had a few seagate drives that were very loud! The 7200 RPM read/write speeds are very fast. Seagate has redeemed themselves in my mind with this drive. I strongly recommend this drive to anyone!

Great backup hard drive for use with Mac. Put inside enclosure to backup several Macs and the drive performs well. Good price point and reputable manufacturer. Would recommend to friends.

Installed it in my ps4 with the Nyko Data Bank product and it's worked well. I now have plenty of space for games and it even seems to load a bit faster than the original disk drive.

SEAGATE is THE MOST reliable brand of drives on the market and I will NEVER buy another brand ever! Not only are SEAGATE's more dependable than the other brands, they are also more affordable. I am currently in the process of changing over all my drives to SEAGATE and I would suggest anyone reading this do the same. I"ve never had a SEAGATE fail, but I've had many WD drives fail - even after only a few months of use.

Easy to install. For those who are adding extra storage they'll need to go into disc management in Windows for Windows to find it. Once there, select the drive, format and off you go. =)

It was a quick install and my computer is back up and running. It is fast and very reliable.

All in all, great hard drives. I have not been very impressed with the 3 and 4 TB reviews, so we stayed with the 2 TB for better reliability. Did have one drive go bad in our server after a month. A little surprised because these have been so reliable.

I bought two of these for a RAID configuration so far it has been reliable without problems. heavy usage and the drives are running well. I have to additional bays to fill and will be considering purchasing similar for parity and dependability

Bought this hard drive to store more picture files from my 36mp D800, which eats up hard drive so fast. This drive is priced right, has a decent capacity and wont break the bank. Installs easy with Windows 7, detected the drive right away, and very soon I am backing up all the pictures onto this drive. The other thing is access speed which is average, not too stunning fast but does the job. Best buy has a great return policy and customer service, cant go wrong with them. And now they have price matching, which guarantees a great deal to match major online retailers.

I was very pleased with my purchase it was my first time getting and using a Seagate 2tb hardcover for my desktop computer it's an awesome but and for the price can't beat it.
