Just installed in my iMac & got it to work great again.

Too early to tell on reliability but this is a very fast and quiet drive.

Bought for PS4 to use with the nyko bank, and man the loading times are much more better now! I also have so much more space for games now. Now I gotta wait for the approval from Sony to be able to use more then 2tb.

I had one of those unfortunate situations where my hard drive was failing. I bought this drive in lieu of opting out for pure SSD. This one has the advantages of the SSD speed, with the size and price of a "normal" drive. I am VERY happy with this purchase. What could be better? I knew the best way to have NO downtime was to Clone my existing HD onto this new Seagate drive. I used an external EZ-Dock to connect the newe drive to my PC with a USB cable. I formatted it, and got ready to do a clone. I tried to use the Acronis Software which comes free with the Seagate Drive (DixkWizard) for the "Clone." However, it failed at every attempt to clone. Apparently, it's a known issue for years. Then it took a day to totally uninstall the software (there's a secret tool available on Acronis web site to uninstall everything that the "uninstall" process fails to remove. It would create an "image" - I don't trust images. I found HDClone-5 online, bought it and easily cloned my C: Boot Drive, onto the New Seagate. That took a few hours to complete, while I continued to use my PC. Then, I shut down, removed the failing boot drive, and installed the new Seagate SSDD as my boot drive. In less than 5 minutes, I turned my PC back on, and it booted up in a fraction of the time it had prior to the disk change. Everything was exactly as I left it when I shut down. I was impressed to say the least. The Seagate SSDD 2TB disk runs much quieter than the former disk (my PC is a Dell XPS 9100 - yes back when Dell still made good PCs, and the disk was about 4 years old). Prior to the new Seagate drive, I could hear my pc running from other rooms in my home. It runs non-stop, 24/7/365. Since the new SSDD drive, I only hear the quiet fan while sitting next to it. I am so happy with this SSDD, I bought a second drive to replace my (still good) second disk, where I keep all program files, personal data, files, etc.. I'm cloning it now, and it's nearly done. :) I'v e recommended it to friends over the past days since I installed it.

Very good price and easy to install. Its a great data drive for my computer.
