Great addition to my gaming rig. You can never have to much HDD space. Easy to install. All hardware included is a plus.

This was a good purchase as the product was exactly what I was needing to replace a drive that had died in my desktop. I did cross check it against the Western Digital brand as well as some others, but as far as capacity, speed, and price, this was more or less the best of all three.

This is a great internal hard drive and you really can't beat the price! If anyone seems to have problems once everything is attached to the motherboard please be sure to go into your hard ware system properties and to format the drive! It won't work when it's set up before its formatted! A simple google search on how to format a new internal hard drive will provide you with the simple steps on how to format it based on your operating system.

The music collection filled up the vacation-home computer's drive, and I needed to add storage without wasting vacation time. I've been satisfied with the performance, reliability, and lifetime of Seagate Barracuda family fixed head disc drives for many years, and I was pleased to find this unit available in the near by Best Buy store. It's also great that the cost for large amounts of commodity storage is absurdly low.

Replaced my 1 TB drive with this 3 TB monster. Not as speedy as some newer hybrids, but a lot of drive for the dollar.

so far so good. stable, fast and reliable. I rely on my computer and up time is key.

I bought this drive as extra storage on a 6 years old Dell desktop computer with Windows 7 Home. I can only get my computer to create a 746 GB partition. I have not been able to figure out how to get my bios and Windows to recognize the whole 3TB. I have an identical 3TB HDD in an external enclosure for extra storage on my Xbox One and it recognized the whole 3TB right from the gitgo. It's an excellent HDD. Very quiet. Very fast read/write times.

Bought this to replace another 3TB hard drive (same make and model) that I thought had quit on me. Turns out the problem was not the product but operator error. I somehow had messed up my "Permissions" and was unable to boot the old drive. Fixed the problem on an external port and got up and running again. Kept the new drive because I know, from doing photo RAW files, I'll need another soon.

I have several network access storage devices and try to add various manufacturers drives all at the same time in an effort to avoid a multiple simultanious drive failures. The thinking that two drives made at the same time with identical use might fail at the same time due to similar materials and age. this is one of the drives I usualy throw into the mix. I trust Seagate.

this was an easy to install drive. I would have given it 5 stars except for the fact that it gave me some formatting troubles. only 2tb shoed up, and I had to download a program to be able to get the full 3tb of space. I also had trouble when I had to reformat my computer, and had to reinstall this program in order to read the data on the drive. I don't like that. aside from this however, the drive has worked just fine.

Installed in my pc for extra space since my old 2TB died on me. Big fan of Seagate brand.

Great and fast mechanical drive, while it doesn't have the capabilities or speed of a hybrid or full ssd hard drive, it is a great drive, basically the fastest you can get for a mechanical hard drive, 64 mb cache 7200 rpm sata-600 S.M.A.R.T., and I have always had really great luck with seagate hard drives so yes I would recommend this to a friend :-)
