Customer Ratings & Reviews

I just came to the U.S. for a stay, and during my travels I took a lot of photos and videos. After a few months, my phone storage was no longer enough. Prices in the U.S. are much higher than in my country—many products cost 50% more, sometimes even double. That’s why I was really glad to find this external hard drive priced about the same as back home. With the discount, it was even cheaper, and it’s also from a well-known brand I trust. This was my first time shopping on Best Buy, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience. Thank you!

Seagate products have always been reliable and fairly priced.

It has compact, reliable, and perfect for everyday backups. The Seagate Portable 4TB offers huge storage at a fair price, ideal for media libraries. For rugged travel, the LaCie Rugged SSD delivers durability with faster transfer speeds

LOVE this drive! It’s fast, sleek, and perfect for my needs. I needed a larger hard drive for my entertainment library, and this is perfect! It lets me plus and play with no issues.

Works as advertised with slight hiccups when downloading games, I have it hooked up to my PS5 and most PS5 titles games work, but some I still have to download on my PS5’s internal hard drive because this can’t format it correctly. Keep that in mind before purchase but otherwise good speeds and good price.

Of course the 4TB isn't quite 4TB (it's like 3.8TB or something because of whatever software's already on there), but that's still more than plenty for what I need. I can keep it plugged in, store all my games, and record videos whenever I feel like it. Very handy to have around

I bought this product and was exactly what I was looking for and it works great. A little slow get there

Easy to use and great amount of storage for the dollar amount. The item is lightweight and not bulky.

It works as expected: very compact, large enough size for storage and fast data transfer.

Does what it promised. Works good and fast. I would recommend

I've never been a Seagate fan, but this drive is good quality and very little effort to setup and use it. I would definitely buy it again.

This brand and type is perfect for my sons ps5. He says it syncs perfectly and allows him to store all of his games.

Its an external usb hardrive with a bunch of space, it gets the job done efficiently.

Good speed and sleek style, price was also attractive.

This device will be used for generations to come for pictures to be downloaded and memories shared for many years.

Excellent price for a substantial amount of extra space!

Someday this thing will fail, and I will be very sad. Does anyone else think it's amazing that we can just have 4TB hard drives? Does anyone else remember when 100GB was a wild, expensive concept?

I have used Seagate for extra storage over the last ten years. This most recent 4TB external drive is once again an excellent product for the price!

Simple to use. Lots of space. Affordable compared to other brands.

Loved how large this drive is at just under 4TB as I hooked it up to my NAS, and actually purchased a 2nd one. super easy to plug and play!
