I have been using this product for almost 6 months between my PC and my mac at work and home, no problems at all, the transfer speed is fantastic, reliability and design are great.

Load all my music, pictures, and video still have over one half of it left for future storage. Easy hookup to load information. Would purchase the same one if needed.

Make sure that you have USB 3.0 drivers installed to get the most performance out of this hard drive....and make sure the USB slot on your computer that you plug this into is the blue one. It will still work on the white or black one, but the blue one is faster (if you have one).

This replaces an older Seagate unit with a smaller capacity. It came at a reasonable cost, easy to set up, and offered 2 TB memory -- that met my needs so I did not do any comparison shopping. I was pleasantly surprised to find it backed up some programs as well as my files.

This drive was easy to setup and use. Also it is portable and takes very little space.

I purchased WD before and it did not work. Shifted to Senate and it was a good move. This portable HD is working fine without heating up. Although box does not specifically mentions this, it is USB3.0 with backward compatibility to 2.0. All in all it was a good purchase.

Honestly - looks sleeker than WD passport and cost-wise 5-10 dollars cheaper. This is my third Seagate purchase. I would recommend this anytime compared to WD.
