So, being a longstanding Seagate product consumer... After hearing my sister go on and on about running out of space on her laptop, phone and table --- seeing that I recommended what to purchase to resolve the matter; she was not going to purchase... What better gift to purchase for someone that not only needs, wants but can more than ideally use the gift over time... In the end, she was very happy and excited about the gift of a 1TB external but portable drive. Now she has ample amount of space for more pics and videos of the kids, special moments and perserving memories. #SeagateIsTheBest

This is my second Seagate external hard drive, The previous one was not used extensively and sat for a long time. I called tech support and they were able to help me even though it was way out of warranty. Nice people, So when I needed one for work I bought another Seagate. They have a great reputation. The set up was super easy and it is running beautifully. I will never be without an external drive again since I experienced a computer crash and lost so much data. I would recommend Seagate to all.

This works great with my Macbook Pro. Everything transfers so fast. You won't have to wait a long time to transfer gigabytes. I really like it that it comes with 2 years of 200GB online storage on OneDrive.

I was looking for a simple backup plan for an extra computer I had and this is perfect. software is easy to install and is small and thin to hide out of the way.

I bought this after my old Seagate TB drive stopped being recognized by my computer... My fear was everything from my old HDD was gone so I bought this to have a professional service move everything from old to new HDD.... BUUUUT, this came with a trial of a Seagate Recovery program. It found all the files from my old drive and although it was a trial version, I could see it was going to work. So for $99 more I got a recovery program forever and also saved all my work and music and backups from my old drive. I highly recommend these drives for portability, stability and the cool Recovery software. Oh yeah! And the price!
