It is great and responds quickly, have no problem transfering big filea like 4K footage. I also partition the drive and ised it as a clone drive of my computer and it works great.

OF COURSE, PLEASE DISCONNECT THE DRIVE when you are done with the backups otherwise, it could ALSO be ransomed. Only keep it connected when you perform the backup ... or need to retrieve from it.
