The old device was made by WD. Seagate seems to make a better product and I am happy with my purchase at this time.

My ex-wife purchased it prior to closing the account, but I'll be held responsible for half the amount of the purchase.... But I'm sure it's handy and will safe-keep important pics and documents. Most importantly the slim design will make it easy to transport when out and about.

Fast but some operations confusing

But lack of instructions creates some confusion on setting up the backing up. Seems to be creating incremental backups of only what is new or changed. The original back up folder containing all my files, etc., does not seem to get updated. Wondering how I would then restore my entire drive to latest state in case of a crash.
