I only use Seagate drives, and this one is yet another example as to why. It works flawlessly and is very well built with a pleasing design aesthetic. I personally never use the included software on drives like these, but either way, it's a great drive.

I have owned 3 of these drives, all purchased at different times over 4 years or so for different purposes, and undoubtedly they are different lot numbers. Two have been going strong for the entire period, but one died just when the warranty ended (but I think it was left hooked up too much and overheated). This is the fourth one, so, for the price it is a worthwhile investment!

It is working perfectly and been using it for a year while traveling around the world to backup my photos. Transfer speeds are good. It is light. It is well made since it still works after traveling around the world and gets thrown into my backpack now and then.

The external hard drive is so easy to use. Just plug it in and start saving or backing up files!

I needed some space for more DLs from the Nintendo WiiU. This HD is great at 1TB, so I have more than enough space. The best part is that it is powered off via a USB to the WiiU, so no need for an extra power cord. The set up was so easy and I have been very pleased with this HD.

Windows automatically installed the driver and it worked perfectly fine. Can't complain

Thought I would have to do something to get it installed and running--but it worked without any outside help! I LOVE easy!

This is a great product- met my expectations exactly. The only thing I'm disappointed in is the inability to password protect folders or the hard drive itself.
