This external backup is a great item to have and at a low price tag. I made a recovery disk and then backed up my entire computer with room to spare. Should have purchased one long ago.

Great to have on hand when you need to back up whole swathes of a hard-drive. Relatively quick and quiet.

This drive is used to save family photos on an external drive from our family pc and it's perfect. I found it on sale and I use it every so often to add my pictures to it. If my PC should crash for any reason I can access everything directly on this baby.

Seagate is always a great buy. I did have to return my 1T external hard drive BUT just to purchase a 2T Seagate external hard drive to copy all of my hard drive onto.

Purchased the 1TB HDD to backup an aging laptop running MS Vista. Seagate Dashboard software kept locking up without performing a successful backup. Contacted Seagate Customer Service and received a quick response within 48 hrs that identified settings that needed to be changed to remedy the issue.

I have too many pictures on my computor an wanted to combine them onto this to have like a separate file of just photos. It worked great I was able to put lots on an have room for more.

I used it for the first time and working great. I would buy again.

I had some trouble finding an external hard drive for windows 10 at first but once I came upon this hard drive all of those problems were solved. Holds a lot of memory and very simple to use.

It is a good media storage of the price. Good to backup your data

I have always been a Seagate Customer. I have purchased over the years different Seagate data storage products and I have not had any problems at all. I hope this is not the exception.

Works as a perfect storage for my files It is very compact and portable. I have several computers that I use and this helps me in moving/accessing the files from one computer to another.

I use this with a Mac as a Time Machine backup drive. I can't evaluate the software that comes with the drive, but I reformatted it to use with Time Machine on a Mac and it works great.

It would have been more helpful if it had clearer instructions on how to back up multiple times and to view that back up really occurred. It is good for a portable and compact back up system. The price is good and it is compatible with a PC.

I just bought this product like a month ago and i really like it.I'm using it for movies ,music and photos so the size is literally enough for me. The speed of the 3.0 is insanely fast.

I use this to backup my computer and it works as advertised. Haven't had any issues with it yet and it's been about 6 months since I started using it. It's the perfect size for me and gets the job done.

Easy to use for a beginner with good advanced set up options for the people that know how to do that. This is my second seagate, and I like this newer model. Lots of storage and I got it on sale, so big plus there. It's a bit slow but I have large picture files that might have something to do with it.

Downloaded all my pictures and fantastic music!!! Look at several hard drives and picked this one,its portable and simply to use,also price was great!!!
