This was a breeze to connect to my MacBook Air and sync. I am very pleased with this product. I also like that it reminds you to upload periodically so that your computer is backed up.

My windows computer crashed and I bought a Mac as a replacement it walked me through transferring the files and using the harddrive as the middle man. No complaints!

Works great, very easy to back up to. Bought this one and others for family photos for my siblings, we had alot of photos over the years and each one worked great.

I needed to replace a drive that did not survive a fall. I like the rugged metal casing for this drive and it works great right out of the box for a mac. I was disappointed that it has a connector that is not universal and could be more difficult to find if it needs replacing.

The Seagate backup plus 1TB drive is very fast and the small size makes it easy to pack. If you need space or more importantl portable disk this is the ticket and on sale great price.

Good Portable Hard Drive that takes a bit of time to go through its first backup (8hrs)

Connected drive via USB and installing the driver was a breeze. Backed up 500gb to the new drive and it was fast compared to other backup media. Very portable and so far the device has been working with no issues. Purchased the extended warranty just in case.

My Seagate 1 TB external hard drive works great. Took all my videos and music off my laptop. Now I have plenty of room on my laptop, plus still have a lot of room on the Seagate too.

It works just fine. Perfect for storing digital items.

Good back up to have for all your important things in case your hard drive goes bad.

Did not know there was such a thing. I think it is great. Uploaded all my extra stuff on my computer and made more room. I am not a techie so it had to be thoroughly explained to me.

Great to have more storage for personal security. Make sure you go to SETTINGS on your computer and make sure it accepts the hard drive and uses it to store info.

I purchased this as an additional external hard drive for our Xbox One and it has worked well. Cheaper than the branded Xbox One drives, too!

Easy to use. Great idea to save your pics and music on

When I first connected it to my computer, it didn't automatically run the program, and actually took quite a bit of time to get it to "open" to begin installation. Total start to finish time was about 9 hours for approximately 5mb of data that I wanted to copy, but total I ended up with about 30mb. It's difficult to just select a specific component, so you have to save massively larger files to make sure you are copying what you really want. The time required may be faster for others, as my computer was on its last leg to begin with- the fan was broken and I had to keep the laptop on an a/c vent the entire time, though it did overheat once and I had to start over from the beginning. This product (on my specific computer) was a hassle and based on my experience I would suggest paying the extra money for a more user friendly device. All in all, I saved all my data (and then some) for under $80, so I guess I can't complain much.

Once we hooked up the hard drive to the Xbox, we just had to go through a few steps to make sure it was formatted. It was so easy my 10 yr. old son could operate it.

So I needed an extra terabyte of space, scooped this up, basic and quick to use. Works like a charm, and I believe you get 200gb free cloud service when you register....
