Nice sleek design. I could fit it in my pocket, if need be. I'm using this as a backup drive for my main PC. Work well if i need to swap it over to my laptop. Data transfer is fast. Lots of space to use. Good drive for the price. I would recommend the Seagate 1TB.

This 1 TB portable hard drive is small, light, quiet, fast, and reasonably priced. I use if for backups. Works flawlessly and comes with a short usb cable; a big plus for me. powered from the usb port, so no power dongle. Very happy with this purchase.

I bought this drive to backup my files from my desktop, laptop and old WD backup hard drive. It works like a charm and is fast in transferring data. It's thin and light so you can carry it anyway and connects via USB. No other power source needed.

I use this for my 2011 MBP and it's great. Often people see the Mac badge and think they have to have it for it to work, but you can use and drive for your Mac. I used this to back up all the time and it's great. For the price it's a great deal!

We use the Seagate for a continual backup device for our home computer. It was easy to install, slim so it doesn't take up much space, and stores a lot of information. The Seagate is also compact enough to carry with you while traveling.

I bought this to use as a back-up device for my laptop and my wife's laptop. It was compatible with both windows 7 and windows 8. The software loaded easy but I am not sure I like it. I decided to use the windows back-up in place of the software that comes with the product. I like that it is a small size and does not need to be plugged into a power outlet to operate. There is plenty of space to back-up all my music and pictures. We can even fit several from each computer. And when we finish it stores neatly in our safe. You could also leave it plugged into a desktop for automatic back-ups if you like. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because of the software it comes with. I did not think that software was easy to use for more than one computer.

I've been in need of an external hard drive for awhile and the Seagate Backup Plus Slim is perfect for what I use it for. It's inexpensive, easy to use and is small and lightweight so it's easy to store. Very recommended.

For the price, this drive really cannot be beat. No compatibility issues, easy to use. Bought this to replace an old Hitachi drive that was full. Would buy it again.

A great backup drive for personal or small business use. Slim and convenient for carrying and storing. 1TB space good for backing up an entire small laptop computer. Pretty fast data access and storing with USB3.0.

Bought this to help reload a laptop with a fresh OS. Works well, comes with Seagate's own backup software that can be deleted by a quick formatting. It does the job, but it's a low-powered drive, so even on USB 3.0, it's not the fastest way to go. Still, it is reliable, tiny and affordable - the value triangle.

I love the new Seagate Backup drive. The amount of spac it provides is more than I will ever use, and the price was very affordable. It is small and easy to use and fits in in my purse which is a big plus for me!

This is exactly what I was looking for. The right size, a very reliable company and a very decent price. It outfits my surface pro 3 just as I would expect, and backed up my desktop for decided to take a dump.

Not much bigger than a deck of cards and a terabyte of storage. Easy to carry and is USB 3.0 for speedy data transfers. Like the Seagate brand hard drives too.

The Seagate is very easy to use. I am a senior and didn't have any trouble using it. It is compatible with my laptop and my iMac desktop. It's so nice to store all of my pictures on....I have over 2,000 so now I know they are safely stored in case my computer crashes. The price was good, too.

I was really surprised by the small size of this 1TB hard drive, when it arrived. It is fast, light weight and very easy to put in your bag or pocket to take with you. Great unit at a great price !

So, I only had 500GB on my Xbox One and needed more storage. The folks at Ga****op told me that I had to buy the Xbox One certified SeaGate 1TB external hard drive, which was twice the price as this one, which is the exact same thing! Now this might not come to a surprise by a lot of you, but a 37 yr old "Noob" like myself had no clue as to this. And the kicker is, THE FOLKS AT BESTBUY ARE THE ONES WHO TOLD ME ABOUT THIS! I had the green Xbox One Seagate 1TB, and the techs told me that this one was the exact thing and would work flawlessly. And it did! Thank you guys at BestBuy, yall saved me about $30!

This hard drive seems to be exactly what I was looking for - something to back-up my files on my computer in case of a big problem. My son-in-law helped me set it up in just a few minutes, and it has been working fine. We set it to do a back-up weekly (daily and monthly were also some options) and it did this for me. It is hidden unobtrusively behind my laptop, connected to a USB 3 port, and is silent. The connector cable is provided, contrary to what some reviewers have said. I am not a techie, so I needed something simple but trustworthy to do what it is supposed to do, and for backing up, this is it. It is also compact and appears sturdy.

This hard drive exceed my expectations. I needed more space on my hard drive and purchased this one to fix that problem. It is so small and light weight and super easy to install.
