I like the seagate drives, I have a few and have had no problems. This is a great drive for my son who just needs to save his documents for college on an external drive.

We needed a back-up hard drive for my son's X-box 360. We were greeted by a friendly employee when we entered, told him what we were looking for and he steered us right to this solution. It is just what we were looking for.

I bought this to primarily store pictures and documents in order to free up space on an older computer that does not have many gigabites or much memory.It does an excellent job and I love that I can take it with me if and when I travel and plug into any computer to have easy access to what is stored on it. It has done the job I bought it for very well.

I recently purchased the Seagate Backup Plus Slim Portable Drive for our computer.It is not only a great thing to have for computer backup if your computer crashes, but also convenient for your mobile devices. Great product.

Excellent for backup use for photos, videos, documents. Best of all is the size. Easy to take with you, would recommend a hard case for it if you are traveling (purchase separately). Comes with USB cable so you are good to go!

A terrific size for a portable external hard drive! And, it's 1 TB of memory. It'll hold several backups! It's size is perfect to bring with us to our summer home!......Make sure it's Windows compatible....the first one I purchased was for a Mac, but I was reassured at that time by the salesman that it was an Apple product, but would work with a Mac or Windows compatible PC.....He was wrong! If you buy, make sure that the salesman knows which one you need........they aren't all aware of this!!

This device is light and fast, perfect to carry around in a briefcase or purse. Use it as an alternative storage for your limited SSD drive to store your large media such as movies,videos, and pics.

I bought the Seagate external hard drive to back up the massive amount of pictures I have. It was easy to install and I quickly moved my pictures. It is a relief to know the precious moments are now backed up and secure.

Small and compact. Cable is short but perfect for XBOX One. Had to let XBOX one format drive before I could use, but it was quick and the drive works flawlessly.

Since I only use this hard drive to back up my files and homework, the storing space is large enough. Till now I haven't found any problems when using it. Worth purchasing. Already recommended to one of my friends.

This external hard drive was extremely easy to use as full back up of my aging lap top. i was also able to easily save all my photos and documents from other sources and transfer them from one computer to another

This Seagate 1TB External drive work greats for bringing home huge 5 and 10 GB ISO files from school and for making large, multi-gigabyte backups of my laptop.

Plugged into a USB port and it was up and running within minutes. Completely compatible with Mac and Time Machine. Nice slim design.

I really like this hard drive it is very easy to use. I just plugged it in and immediately was able to just drag and drop files into it. There was no need to instal software like in other HDs I've purchased before.

Slim and trim with easy startup and lots of storage--just what I wanted. I use it to store photos and videos to use on my laptops.

Great product for the price. Aluminum top finish looks slick and seems to disperse heat well. With my usb add-on card, this is faster than my internal sata drive. I would have given 5 stars if the bottom rubber pads gripped the table better. it slides around a little too easily. Overall, I'm happy with it.

I backup each of my machines (3 macs & 1 windows) with this drive daily and change them every six months. Always excellent and never a problem. Would recommend.
