You just plug it in and start going. It's that simple. I was so excited to get this. With all the photos I had I had loaded down my computer. This was a much needed item. Really freed up my computer speed.

I bought this hard drive to be used with a Tablo DVR based on a list of drives which Tablo had recommended. It was very easy to install and the formatting and use of it went very smoothly.

I have had several Seagate's over the years both at work and home. They have never failed me to date. The one this was intended to replace is still working after 7 years. Keep going strong!!!

The Seagate Backup Plus Slim was easy to use, just plug into your computer and it does the rest. Like the slim design, portability and 1 terabyte is more then enough.

This external HD is great if you're looking for something small and portable with a ton of space. The set up and installation process if not hard, but it's not easy and I'd rather just have a HD that plugs in and begins working. Other than that, this is well worth the purchase.

I bought this to use as a backup for my computer and for school and it is working our perfectly for all that i need. I would recommend it to people because it is affordable for the price as well.
