This device was practically and plug and done. I needed to back up my data to transfer to my new computer and it worked perfectly. Now I have a back up for all of my music and photos too.

At first it was hard to hook up to the Mac. I got the version where you have to wipe it out first instead of right out of the box being ready for the Mac. But works good no complaints here.

I own several Seagate backup drives, and they are all great products. Being 1TB, this will do for my needs. It is fast and can be set to exclude any folder one wishes.

So I bought this for my Xbox One S as an extra hard drive and have all my games saved on it. Setup was flawless and the USB cable that comes with the hard drive is compatible with the Xbox. It's virtually plug and play, plugged it in followed the prompts and was done within 6 minutes.

Mainly bought the external hard drive to store things from my computer that I would be afraid wouldn't get backed up properly if the system were to crash. Works incredibly well. No complaints.

I have had two of Seagate's competitor external hard drives fail in the past 18 months. My analysis said that Seagate was the best out there - and their price point was exactly in my budget!

The directions were easy to understand. I like that it is a little smaller than some other external drives I have seen.. I have recommended that a couple of other people I know get one.

This model works great for all my media needs. It is able to perform scheduled backups and allows you to access files from it from anywhere!! Excellent price for the product as well!

very happy knowing my photos are safe and available when I want. Hope it will be there for me in the years to come. Overall, as far as I know now it is a great product at a reasonable price.

1TB is a lot of storage and I got it for only $50 on black Friday. I started to put all my pictures and work onto it and I barely even used any space. I will have this for a lifetime!

Easy to set up and use. Simply plug in the usb and the software downloads and installs. Small size so takes up little space. Plenty of storage for my desktop.
