Extremely easy to use. Plugged it into a USB port, loaded the program, and backed up my computer. Secondly, I loaded a quick app on my phone and backed up all my pics and videos.

I needed a hard drive to store all my info just in case something goes south with my computer. This has enough memory to store everything I will ever need for a decent price.

I got this drive to fill the double role of providing an additional back up device and to use as a portable device to allow access of desktop data for our lap top and our other portable devices. The size and reviews are excellent, and reformatting was a snap. I would recommend this drive as a solid, medium sized portable drive for any purpose.

I purchased this to create a system image in case of computer crash so I could be up and running with a new computer rapidly. It was quick and easy to set up and accomplish my goal.

This is a simple to use and very affordable backup option. I keep it on my desk and at the push of a button back up my entire laptop contents each week in a matter of minutes. I am happy with this product.

Easy to install & use straight out of the box. The automatic backup system was a little intrusive, so I uninstalled the software & just manually back up my files periodically.

This is a really good unit for backing up your data and programs from your Mac. Lots of room for storage of all your files, pictures, documents, etc. Worth the money.

Quick and easy to back up system. NO issues! The installation went exactly as instructions stated. Backing up took a bit because of the amount of data but I expected that.

I use this for the files that won't fit on my ultrabook's SSD. It's easy to carry around with my ultrabook. Comparable speeds with the built-in HDD on my other laptop.

I purchased this drive to store virtual machines on. The drive is fast enough for me to use it as the perfect host for virtual systems thanks to the usb 3 support. No issues.

When I bought this it was on sale for $60. It was a great deal for an extra 1tb of space. I mainly got it to use with my xbox one and its been perfect for that so far!

We already own this product and Purchasef another for my son. It's easy to use & stores all files, pictures, etc. that we use. Would definitely recommend this product.

Had to have my computer put back to manufacture settings the portable hard drive was able to hold all of my information and still room for more storage.

Bought this to use with the Mac Mini I bought for my wife. Great purchase, great small backup device to use with apple backup.

I recommend using the Windows 10 back up system instead of the Seagate back up system. I figured if I lost everything on my computer I would have to reload Windows 10 and would not have to worry about reloading the Seagate back up system, too. I did two back ups the "image" back up on the Seagate and just copied all files from my hard drive to Seagate. The copy all files back up is just in case one file gets messed up and I don't want to reload every single file on the "image" which is what I think I would have to do. When I contacted Seagate before I purchased this product, they were very helpful.

Was worth the money. Does pc and Apple, if I remember right. Wasn’t the cheapest thing in the world, but worth every penny when backing up your files.

I bought this hard drive to back up all of my data from a windows machine to convert to a mac. however, I can't back up my mac to it with out reformatting the drive. Anyway, it was easy, simple, plug and play which was exactly what I was looking for.
