Bought as a backup for my laptop. Does exactly what i needed it to do. Get the case. Will protect the drive.

I love the fact that the Seagate external hard drive is so slim and portable. can back up many files on it.

I use one just like this for backing up my desktop computer and it's been flawless after a few years of use.

Easy to use, convenience size. I can take it everywhere and look at my pictures, listen my music and review my important documents in any other computer. 1TB is great capacity of storage, only the price ( 69.99) was little high for me but needed to buy it because my laptop's hard disk was about to get damage, couldn't afford to lose important information.

I was looking for a backup to move my picture file off a old computer and this one did the job very easily.

We bought two of these, one for each of our Mac Airs. We loved the small size and the huge amount of storage. Setup was easy and in no time we had all our pictures on our new drives. My wife also put all our digital movies on her drive so they can easily travel with us without taking up a lots of suitcase space.

Besides being a well-known brand, Seagate, this tiny 1 TB external hard drive works well with my Surface Pro 2.

I have never had a Swagate drive fail. I've retired the old ones like well worn pants, because I out grew them.

I bought this drive 2 months ago and it's already dead. I bought it to back up all of my photos, documents, videos and music. I think I used about 45 gigs of the terabyte and it died. My PC (and the 3 other PC's I've tried) no longer recognizes the drive when I plug it in. The last 11 years of my digital life is being held hostage on this broken machine. If you have any data that you care about, I would put it on another product. I'm trying to recovery what information I can from the internet and friends right now. There is nothing I know of that can either restore my lost data or my faith in this product. The product is under warranty but they require the old drive before they give me a new one. I am not willing to let the sensitive information trapped on the drive fall into any one else's hands. Besides, I don't want another drive so that I can worry about the day that it too fails.

the drive is fast and my backups are quick. Really like that part of it. The cost was great, seems easy to use, etc.

This Seagate Backup is great. Its' small, fast and works great right out of the box. Definitely would recommend.

Purchased this so that I could backup my desktop PC at home. The backup program that comes with the drive is easy to use and very convenient. Easy to install and no problems after a month of use. I've owned other Seagate external drives and are quite reliable, even after several years of use.
