I put all my class work in here such as virtual machines and other class assignments. Even pdfs of books. I still have a lot of room. I have a Windows and a Mac, both can read the hard drive easily.

I needed a file backup system for my laptop because I carry a great deal of hdr photos from over the years. This is the first external hard I have ever purchased and it seems that I did great considering the price was very affordable and the product surpassed my expectations of quality so eyes and function. I could see myself getting a secondary hard drive that would be more for rugged situations where I will be traveling or backing up my photography while camping. But for all reasonable used to service everyday this is all I need
