I bought this product when I felt like my computer was getting too old to back up 5,000 pictures and the day after my computer crashed so I was very thankful. I thought the set up for a mac book was very difficult and it made me download some things but now it's set up I can use it.

The price is good on this cool SSD storage device and it is lightweight, compact and easy to carry. It is also easy to use and compatible with my MacBook Pro.

I didn't realize how quickly I'd run out of space on my gaming consoles. I bought a couple drives and instantly solved my problem. I don't notice any lag or other problems using these drives.

Simple and easy setup as a backup drive for my iMac using Time Machine. I use it just for time machine and tend to forget it is even there. I hope is hold up over time - I have had some seagate drives fail me in the past.

Durable and plenty of space to hold my photos. Cons: Not able to plug into camera directly. First plug camera into cpu, then plug Seagate into cpu to transfer photos onto Seagate. Not always practical when traveling.

my old lap top failed miserably leaving my personal photos were in jeopardy.... once again the Geek Squad can to my rescue they transferred all my photos to the external hard drive! .. excellent job!

I have owned this hard drive for over 6 months, it has been hooked up to my router the whole time. Great speeds when writing, and reading from a network computer. Would recommend.

This is exactly what I expected. It is a great product. I bought a 500gb 6-7 years ago and it's still going strong. Seagate is probably the only hard drive product I will ever own.

I haven't the need to upload to the computer yet. The only way that I know it is working is when I turn on the computer & the external drive beeps letting me know it is syncing.

I filled up my XBOX One 500 GB hard drive very quickly with just game installs. This external drive worked great and was a decent price for the large upgrade. Highly recommended.

We bought this to replace an old external drive that was taking forever to backup, with this new device, backups are a snap. This is a really great product.

Seagate back up hard drive works well, much smaller in size than my 5 year old previous seagate, but same capacity. Instructions ae somewhat lacking , but easy for me to use becasue of my familiarity with my previous seagate backup hard drive.

I like the USB3.0 and backward compatability with USB2.0 I needed it to backup my data off my laptop and the kids PC. This was very handy I backed up all the data I needed very quick and easy.
