    Drive is good and comes with some useful software on it as well. Seagate is one of my favorite drive brands.

    good product, however, 1TB is not enough for heavy duty storage nowadays, but it is still bulky to carry around as small storage, returned and bought 2 larger capacity usb drives.

    took me a while to figure out. not easy to install, doesn't come with lots of instructions. but it worked when I finally figured it out.

    Bought this to replace a Western Digital drive that has been giving me trouble from the start. I hook this one up and it says to insert the installation disk... it didn't come with one. The box just had the drive and the cord in it. Not sure how I am supposed to install the Seagate Dashboard when it keeps giving an error message. Frustrating. Instead of getting more frustrated, I am just using it as a hard drive rather than a synced back up.

    When I formatted for Mac & PC, it wouldn't let me upload a filed larger than 4gigs at once. Strange formatting issue I've never encountered. Works great other than this.
