This small device has been the best purchase I’ve made in a while! My computer I use for work was super slow & letting me know I was out of memory. This backup has plenty of space & is so easy to use, I shouldn’t ever have to worry about running out of memory again!!! I definitely recommend buying this!

I bought this portable external hard drive to handle all of my photos and videos from my Nikon D7100 and my Go Pro Hero 4 Black. This was a great buy — it has a large capacity, fast transfer rates, and decent price (though portable externals are much more expensive than their desktop counterparts). I docked one star on this item for that fact that it comes loaded with some really annoying Seagate software; I had to completely reformat the drive to get rid of it and make this hard drive work properly.

Great little drive, about the size of a deck of cards maybe smaller. I remember when 2tb was unheard of without billions of dollars and square footage! This is hooked up to my network router and works great for storing stuff that is accessible from anywhere.

I usually buy Western Digital external drives, especially following manufacturing problems Seagate had in 2012. I bought this drive for two reasons: price and its thin profile. I have not been disappointed on either front. And as far as performance, no problems or faults. It just works for me. Thanks, Seagate.

I got two of these on Black Friday. They were very cheap in price and great for backing up your current system and/or taking it on the fly. No plug in is required and it's easily connected with the enclosed USB cord. It also works well as a way to expand your HD space with either the PS4 and Xbox One.

I purchased this external drive to use on my 2011 15" Macbook Pro as a Time Machine backup drive.It has enough storage to backup my internal 1TB drive and it is small enough to carry in either a laptop bag, or your pocket. You can't beat the price and the performance has been great!

I was looking to upgrade my PS4 by 2 TBs. I looked online and everything I read pointed me toward this little portable HD. I was originally looking for a regular 2.5" drive to upgrade, but when I heard you can open this portable drive up to take it out I went with this instead. It was a lot cheaper, too! PLEASE NOTE: Opening this up to take the hard drive out WILL void the warranty. There are instructions online that will easily guide you on how to take apart this Seagate case and install the hard drive in the PS4. Pretty straightforward.

I had a 500 MB exterior hard drive that was many times as thick and high as this little beauty. I needed something small and portable to back up my home computer. This Seagate was excellent. Probably way more than I will use at 2TB, but it was so affordable I went for the larger size.

I have always wanted a small hard drive with a big storage. This is perfect so I can keep all the files of pictures with high quality images, without having to re-size them just so i can make up for storage space. It is light weight too so its prefect for travelling!

I have a quite a few portable hard drives, and these are my current favorite: very thin, attractive, quiet, secure cable connection, fast USB 3 transfers. Couple of things: they do make occasional faint clicking noises, which apparently is normal (all 3 of my drives like this do so) Also, the Seagate software which I installed with this drive had some weird conflict with pre-existing Western Digital software from another drive, which made for all kinds of transfer errors and computer crashes. Made it seem like the drives were defective, but once all of each software was removed, the Seagate performs great. I only use drag and drop transfers. I am leery of backup software conflicts now. I do not know which brand was the culprit, if any.

I purchased one, but it would not work with my version of iOS. Although all the boxes had all the same markings (which confused the blue shirt I was working with), some boxes said they would work with older iOS's and others did not. Once I got the correct one I was able to take it home, format it, and get it working just like a regular usb flash drive. Although it says that it will work seamlessly with Time Capsule, I just wanted to save desktop and iPhone pics and music, so I am using it as a large usb drive and am very happy with it. It is small and feels well put together and sturdy. Documentation it came with could be more helpful, but overall great drive so far; I have had it for nearly 2 months.

I purchased this for my Xbox 360, since the latest software update allows for up to 2TB external storage. This is small, light, and provides the maximum storage allowed with this new update. Now I don't have to worry about deleting games for a while.

This is the best deal on a compact drive with hight capacity (2 TB). Great price and great reliability. I own several seagate external drives and they all perform flawlessly. I would highly recommend this one.

Went looking for a external storage for my Xbox One and found this one. Reasonable price and super compact for the price of a 2TB memory. Very easy to use and install. Quick and easy. highly recommend especially for the Xbox One.

Its size and design are simply elegant and works very well with mac, windows and my TV, in addition, for its size it is very easy to transport discreetly and does not occupy much space, and it works fine at the rate of 3.0

This portable hard drive is light and compact. Setup is basically plug and play. 2TB is more than enough to backup the most data loaded computer leaving room for thousands of photos. A great product!

I have purchased roughly 15 of these over the past nine months to hand out to our staff for back-up purposes while they are traveling. Great drive, light in weight, small form factor. Works great and have had no hardware failures. The included back-up software is OK, not robust and does not have many options, but it seems to work fine. Have had no issues.

As a professional photographer, I need lots of room to back up my clients photos. Not only does it handle this need for me but its also small, portable, concealable and doesn't require a separate AC power source.

This is a great product, easy to setup and works well as a portable backup drive. Had a smaller size one that has lasted quite a while. Just needed more space and this did the trick. Highly recommend for the price.
