This is a great product. Slim, concise, to the point. User friendly and sleek looking. Plug and play ready. However, after moving from one laptop to a new laptop it wasn't recognized and wants to reconfigure itself which would erase all the data. Sea gate please help me!!!

I am an archivist (see IT hoarder) and believe in never deleting anything. I found myself running out of hard drive space while on a trip and needed something cheap, large, and reliable. This drive is quiet, has a nice LED indicator light, and is pretty quick. I have transferred around 5 TBs worth of data round trip on this little guy since I first purchased it and it seems to do well. Fast, recognizes quickly, and so far reliable. I am not necessarily a brand snob or particular about WD vs Seagate, but I have never had an issue with my Seagate drives. For what its worth I cannot say the same about my WD drives. Perfect for those on the go that need to take files too large or time consuming to put on "the cloud".

This 2T Seagate Portable External Hard Drive works just as I want it to. I plan on using it for several years because of the 2T size. I also like how light and slim it is and that it comes in such fun colors.

Love this product, I own three! They work great as a back up disc and also for large amount of file storage. I store all photos on one to free up hard drive space. They are compact, powerful and easy to use.

i bought this to upgrade my 500gb ps4 hard drive as 500gb these days isn't much.With a little research i found that this was the cheapest and most reliable way to do it,took a few hours in all but backed everything up to another external hard drive so i didn't lose my ps4 save data,settings etc,swapped drives,downloaded the fat32 file to a flash drive to get the ps4 back up and running and ended up with 1.77tb of storage,also ended up putting the 500gb ps4 drive back in the external case and formatted it to fat32 so my son has a 460gb external drive for his 360 ..awesome!

The hard drive itself works perfectly, even after switching out the ps4 hard drive into it, it connects with little issue and is great for personal files. Very mobile and easy to use.

As an insurance adjuster we have a lot of pictures and this is exactly what was needed for all my files and pictures. It's light weight and easy to use. I take it with me every day.

A portable hard drive is a necessary accessory for any traveling photographer. This new model is lighter and smaller but has more storage. Seagate is the only brand I use.

This item is very quiet. It sets up without any issues. A very small powerful hard drive. It is easy to carry from place to place but has room to store lots of data on.

Used this external hard drive with storing games with xbox one. Easy set up, no external power needed, recognized by xbox one and 3.0 usb. connection is fast..

Once you figure out how to format this hard drive for your computer you will enjoy using it. My problem arose because this storage device may have said that it was compatible with Mac operating system; however, that did not mean that it came with the software already preloaded for you to plug and play. Possibly, using it for a Windows based system may be easier to get it up and running. I almost put it back in the box to return it. Also, there is no human you can talk with to help you through the process...this is not a company like Apple or even Linksys to walk you through the set up. The only option you have for help is through email. Once you figure out what software you need it will be a great asset: small, light, and easy to put in the carry case. Next time I buy one of these I will be bringing the computer with me and having the sales person set it up...or buy it at a store where they will do this.

This is small light and fast. Just what I wanted to haul around extra files that don't fit on my hard drive. A nice clean design and it included needed cable

I bought this drive to store my photography images so that I can free the space on my Mac. The drive is small, portable, light, and super easy to carrier.

This external hard drive is very easy to use and is an ideal size for easy transporting. It is really hard to believe that it can hold so many important files.

Must have if you're going to download digital games unto an Xbox One or PS4. Lots of room in it still. Good price, got it on sale for the price of 1Tb.

I was looking for a product that was compatible with my Mac and also a good price. I've used this brand in the past and never had an issue. It's so nice to finally have something this small. I decided to pay the extra price for the 2TB also. I'm sure I will never have issues with this product for years to come. My old huge ones that are almost 10 yrs old still work.

Nice and slim. Lightweight. Promotion for OneDrive storage and being on sale makes this a pretty good buy. Fast transfer speed. Works great on a Mac.

Bought two of these to replace a no longer functioning back up hard drive on a great Christmas sale. Plugged this in at home and backed up all of our pictures and other important documents. Took quite a while to do the full back up of many gigs of data, but I just let it run while I went and did other things. Was simple to hook up and easy to use and I love the size for the capacity. They are so much smaller than my old backup. Here's to hoping they don't have problems in the future like the last one did. Thus far, these drives are a 5 star for sure.
