I like the slim drive format and extra capacity it provides. Even better is the NTSF driver that permits sharing device on Mac and PC without having to reformat. Very convenient.

ease of use. there is lots of space to backup my computers

I purchased the Seagate Backup external drive to maintain photos and other documents off my hard drive and it works easily and quickly. Not a big learning curve here. It connects to a USB port on my computer and its small size fits just right on my desk. IMPORTANT: disconnect it when not using it so that data remains safe from any intruder.

What can you say its 4tb of storage that will fit in your pocket and its USB 3.0 on top of that For what I paid for it I can not complain at all If you need portable storage this is a good solution

Small, compact and reliable. I've had it for awhile now and it has never given me a problem. Hooks right into the usb port of my ps4 and I can play media right off of it.

Love that this externsl drive is small and compacy, yet has pleanty of storage space. I use it back up my laptops 1 gig hard drive and two external 1 gig each external hard drives. One of the external is used to store pictures and videos taken by my Nixon D7000. The other 1 gig external hard drive I use to store my clients data. Up to know I have been backing up my 3 hatd drives weekly for approximately 1 month with this external hard drive and it has been fantastic.

This is my second seagate 4 gb external hard drive. Absolutely no problems in two years.nearly two thousand full movies on it including blu rays.use everyday to watch movies.great product..

The best way to protect your documents, photos, graphics and videos. I use one 4TB USB Seagate as a normal system and over all backup --- and another to do a direct copy of photos, graphics, etc. Easy to use and doesn't take up desktop space.

I really like this product for it's capacity since I have 52 thumb drives and it gets a tad bit old. The one thing I do not like which I have had with other large backup drives is that you can't open the backup file and view different types of documents, photos, etc. It is strictly backup or recover and reload. Would be nice to be able to open up files to actually see they exist or if you need something.

Had the drive for one month now, no failures, read/write speed is good via USB 3.0. Great needed space for movies, music and able to put it in my pocket. USB-powered so no electric plug.

AS my description says you cant ask for more from a hard disk drive! Never had any data errors with it, never disconnected on its own. Transfer speeds with usb 3 is awesome and traveling with this small HD that is self powered is pleasant. No issues at all i love mine.

Purchased this device for continuous backup on our primary PC. It works great and so far, I am very pleased for the value and ease of installation for the price paid.
