Just needed a backup drive for my computer. Didn't need a slim drive, just needed a regular drive and this drive gave me more xxxxBytes for the dollar that met my needs.

I needed offline backup security for a small business and this product delivers it at an affordable price.

An excellent drive for external backup. I use it as my time machine backup of my system hard drive for my iMac. Trivial connection and up and running in about a minute.

Love these hard drives they last a long time I highly recommend this product especially to video editors

Just what we we looking for. We needed more memory for our Xbox one, and you couldn't beat the deal.

Could be wireless maybe a longer USB cable. No external power supply attachment. Backup battery

A wonderful piece of tech. Much better than earlier versions of seagate external storage devices.

Returned because it ended up being less than what I needed but it was a great drive while it lasted.

Had to buy this to since my 500mb that I've had for years is full of items from my mom's estste.

The hard drive does what it should, but is not what I expected. The 3.0 speeds are significantly slower than my other devices, and this one continuously slows or stops due to "errors". Had to repeat the process multiple times due to the device prematurely ending the transfer. Resulted in numerous erroneous files. Maybe I received a defective unit, but I'll go with a different brand next time. However, if it's considerably cheaper than any other brand/model, I'd say go for it.
