    It is working great so far. We use this to dump our data on to our drives after filming our shoots.

    I was able to set up the external hard drive easily but initially the data transfer was slow. Had to adjust couple of windows parameters to make it fast.

    Hard drives, especially external drives, have been around for a long time and it's difficult to make something special anymore, because expectations have changed. I really wouldn't want Seagate to put more software features on top, but I do wonder if more could be done to make power supplies, fan and cooling tech, and noise improvements better. As it is, we needed a large drive for a video project to send footage to a post-production house, and this worked fine.

    Does it's job well, cord is sort of cheap and its proprietary so no way to upgrade. Could be useful to just have USB powered drive while traveling.
