||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Plenty of room however the micro USB port started to bend and wouldn't hold the cord without support... then after 2 or 3 times of repairing the data we uploaded, it stopped working all together and we have to buy a new one.

No reason as to why And about a TB of data lost. Will be returning today or after christmas holiday. Which is rather bad since i have to go without it.

Drive is inaccessible by any program. For a backup it does me absolutely no good. Will have to send into manufacturer for a replacement, but all data stored is lost. May be due to movement or jarring but a portable drive that is not portable is useless.

Lots of storage - Plug & play easy

They have always be really easy to set up and start backing up files. I hardly ever concern myself with the size of an internal drive anymore. Extremely fast transfer and very quiet. Fair price for so much space.

Might Be Good but not on MAC

Died a few months after the warranty

It would just decide to stop spinning while connected to my desktop. I tried different drivers, and a multitude of other remedies, but in the end it finally died 2 years and 4 months after purchase without warning. Backblaze saved most of the data, but I don't think I can buy another one of these without serious reservations. I need to figure out how to do a NAS so i can avoid this in the future.
