I love Seagate drives. I purchased this to replace my other Seagate external hard drive because I was running out of space. Great plug and play and simple to transfer from one hard drive to another. Hopefully, I won't run out of room so soon.

This drive is connected to my network and it is the best cloud device I have used in a long time for a very busy household. All of the information on it is easy to access, with shareable parts to others in the house hold. Fast and reliable.

Purchased this in store based on the review. It works and is fast. Have been transferring files with no issues back and forth from main drive to this via USB 3.0. Build is solid and seems well ventilated to prevent overheating as well.

This Seagate has more then enough space for me to consolidate all of my other hard drives in one place. I was able to clear up a lot of space by having everything in one place.

i bought it for the price on black friday as a back up of my network drive. i wiped it of the seagate programs and just tossed all my stuff on it, and now it will sit and stay good in the closet if anything goes wrong. sounds like a bad way to spend a bunch of money but when something goes wrong you will remember why you bought it.

I bought to use to store ISO images of my DVDs and Blurays. After a few weeks of service, I have no complaints and the price was good ($/GB). Easy to set up like most external drives in this class. Speed is good for my purposes.

Purchased eight of these. We have definitely noticed all the speed advantages of the USB 3.0 interface. The capacity is a definitely plus used in video editing environments.

I use this with my Mac as a backup. Easy to use with no extra installation to make it work with a Max. It works pretty quick when saving or being used to copy from it to another external. No problems at all.

I only wish this hard drive would have came with my xbox one. It would have saved me a lot of time downloading and deleting games so I could try them. A must have for gamers.

Was going to purchase a 4t and best buy had a sale on the 5t for the same price. Couldn't say no. Using other drives by the same company, and haven't had any problems so far.

This is the only brand of external hard drive that I use to edit wedding videos. I can go up to 4 hour straight of editing videos using this EHD. So far, I never had any problem with it - at least for my purpose of using it. It can get very hot. However, I just pause for few minutes, to give it a break, before continuing on with what I do. I already have 5 of this since I used it 2 years ago. But, of course, if I have enough budget, I would buy thunderbolt to see how it will improve my workflow.

i am very happy with this hard drive so far no problems.it has a lot of storage space which allow you to store a lot of pictures and videos. i recommend this kind of storage device which will last you at least one to two years of files storage

I use this as a backup drive for my pictures, movies and music. A hard drive can fail at anytime and if you don't have backups for your files they will be lost forever. I went with this drive mainly because the price was right for the amount of storage you get. 5 Terabytes is probably way more than most people need but since I've digitized my entire DVD collection I actually use about half of it. This drive has been great so far and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good external hard drive.

This is the second hard drive I have purchased. My sons use/needed it for their XBox One. Easy to hook up with no problems. They are very happy with it. Highly recommend this product from Best Buy. Seagate is a great brand.

I purchased this for my ps4 pro and i love it. I don't think i'll ever run out of space for games. The only negative i can draw from it is a slight hum that it gives off when it's reading and writing. But you can't hear it unless your really close to it. The speed is good and the look is cool. Overall i am very happy with it. I've had it about a month and it has been plugged in and working hard 24/7 and i have had no issues with heat or anything. I would definitely recommend to anyone whonis looking to upgrade to more space.

Started shooting a lot of DSLR Video and needed a big, fast, and speedy, backup drive. I did my usual low level format to stress the drive and some large file copy pastes. No problems or hitches at all. Very satisfied.

I run a small business and this is a great back up drive for my files. It has a ton of extra space and works well. It is also USB 3.0 so it transfers files very fast.
