Great External Drive for backing up data for Macs

Very reliable so much to the point that I've purchased two of them for backup and media storage. You can't go wrong with this product.

Was able to partition and use half for time machine back up and half for a shared iPhoto drive. With the number of photos on drive I do occasionally get the rainbow ring when uploading photos from the drive to computer but I can live with it. Didn't want to shell out the big bucks for a thunderbolt drive so this is perfect for my uses.

Drive works well with my computer which only has USB 2.0 ports. Drive supports USB 3.0.
