Best and fast external hard drive i used also very big room!!

Small in size with a nice sized storage space for my Xbox one

I've been using this for a couple of months now and aside from not being able to keep the USB plugged in and turning it off it is working very well for transferring my photos and videos from my desktop to keep them safe. I've lost so many things in the past during 'crashes' and power surges I'm very glad this is a very good saving device.

I own about 4 Seagate backup drives and several other brands. This particular model provides 5 GB of storage at a very reasonable price. Seagate has proven to be very dependable throughout its life-cycle; however, I like to replace all my external hard drives at least every 4 years - doesn't matter what brand it is. If you value your data, you need to keep good hardware and some redundancy. One external drive is good, two drives are better, the optimum is to have 3 drives with your valuable data on it. I use these with Acronis True Image to back up all my computers. And Seagate.com provides discwizard free of charge. Discwizard is Acronis True Image prepared for Seagate owners but only has the necessary options for backup and restore.

I bought this for my Xbox One, it didn't require any formatting just plug and play basically and 5TB should last me a good few years. It doesn't get very hot and is silent. Very good product overall.

I use a lot of portable hard drives for my own system backup processes instead of lots of "Cloud" solutions. This drive has been very good for me in terms of speed, quality, quietness. The drive costs even less now then when I bought it on sale. I would recommend this to anyone who needs durability and a fairly large backup requirement.

I've purchased a number of Western Digital external harddrives (desktop and passport sized) and haven't really had an issue with any of them, but this time I decided to go with Seagate and I am just as happy. Happier, even, considering this is the largest drive I have purchased and now I should be set for quite a few years. My only complaint is that I needed to download third-party software to partition the drive into four separate partitions (which I did immediately upon receiving it), but that isn't even the drive's fault--pretty sure it's just because 5TB is too much for the Windows Disk Manager to handle.

This works great as a simple plug-n-play backup drive.

No issues at all. This was purchased as a back-up for the same drive I bought last year. Does the job with storage to spare. Only issue to watch out for is the USB attachment to the device could be easily broken if hit wrong. If stationary on a desk I'm sure you wouldn't have an issue ( I move mine around frequently and am clumsy lol)
