Lots of space, innocuous design

Good software to start, but can get in the way if you don't need it. Design is sharp in appearance, but also sharp in touch. Edges could be smoother. Drive is designed to lay flat (wide) rather than stand up/on narrow side.

So far so good. Had it for about a month now. The only issue I have with it would probably be my own fault which is not being able to write to it all the time. I may have formatted something wrong or just had the few amount of files that wouldn't write that were corrupted. I don't know for sure. Never had that issue before though. All in all a good price for a good working drive and ended up transferring all my backup files fast.

Not what I thought it was going to be

And, with the proprietary software, you cannot just search for one file to restore; you have too restore the entire disk.

Reliable large storage

Although the setup was a bit complicated for my needs - I had to fuss with disk utility on my iMac for too long - once I got the drive set up, I haven't had to think of it.
