Easy set up and easily hooked up and works perfectly with xbox one a excellent hard drive.

Very pleased. I had always gone with WD for hard drives, but the size and price matched up with what I needed. Works fast and beautiful. From now on, I'll stick with seagate.

I LOVE my Seagate external. This is my second purchase of this product. I use it to store my book and movie collection and I am very happy with its quiet stable operations.

We purchased this for the reason of having one major backup, 5TB instead of 6 other ones laying around. "Backup of a Backup" is important, but this only fires up once a month to sync all our videos and photos and then goes back into the safe.

I love this thing!! I got it to move som large files on my computer to free up some space. I have moved several folders over 10-20Gb in size and it still looks as if no space on the seagate has been used, which means there is plenty space of course. I also operate some programs from it which is my favorite part bcuz I don't have to save it to the hard drive & move it to the seagate later.

This drive can be used with the automatic backup but can also accommodate drag & drop saving. What a relief to have one place to look vs. all my old backup drives!!!

Good speed and great for backing up personal photos, movies, etc. on the network. Only complaint is the bloatware that comes with it - but that's easily deleted.

I bought this to use as my Mac's Time Machine. It has worked great. I had to reform it for Mac, but it was an easy process and when I did I even partitioned it so that I have the "back-up" drive, plus a 1TB drive to use for other things.

It's a good price for this product. Now I can have more space for my documents and music.

Bought this as an experiment.. ps4 now allowes external hard drives so now instead of 500gb..ps4 now has 5.5tb hard drive..amazing ...my internal hard drive is now empty besides game saves and updates..all other applications and games are on the external hdd..it has its own power supply and is usb 3.0

Pros: Fast, solid, and professional. Transfer speeds are good, it holds a huge amount of data, and it's solid (i.e. not flimsy) without being overly bulky. Great for saving local backups or just being able to store a bunch of media and take it from one location to another without having to transfer over the Internet. Cons: None that I've experienced so far.

I've had this for about a month now, and use it for Time Machine backup of a Mac. It seems to work well, although it does get a little bit warm.

For the money, this was even cheaper than an internal drive. It is fast and responsive. Make sure to install the software to change the sleep setting, or it goes to sleep with only 3 minutes of non-use, and then has to spin up again.

I bought this to back up my laptop, and it is working just as I had hoped. Now I am no longer afraid of losing everything I store on it. I have had no problems.
