This was very cheap method for storage. I like the product.it's very simple

got this as a gift for my husband. He is always saying he doesn't have enough space for stuff on his computer. Maybe this will keep him busy for a while.

It seems like hard dives fill up so quickly. This allows me to free up space, and continue using my computer longer before software creep forces me to upgrade.

I take a lot of pictures and purchased this so I don't have to keep buying sd cards. Works out great. Just plug it into computer and can transfer all my pictures easily. Now I have all my pictures in one spot and don't have to have a ton of sd cards laying around. And if I want a picture all I have to do is plug it into computer and get the pic I want to use.

This hard drive has helped my production company! It has been able to hold the past data so it isn't lost and it's still portable and easily accessible.

Have had great results with Seagate drives, and this one is quick and solid as my backup system for all my photos. Will stick with Seagate in the future too.

We love this product. We don't have to worry about info being lost during power outages or if a computer dies.

Plenty of storage for a long time. Good product and good performance

We use these as additional storage in a production studio. In our case, we reformat to use with Mac OS. Other than that step, they are truly plug 'n play. By the way, Mac software is pre-installed on the drive, the additional step is not required, we just find that a true Mac format is more suitable for our application. We have several and have never had one crash.

if you need more memory I recommend this item. The price was great too.

My goal was to find a competitively priced USB 3 port hard drive. This drive is fast and is pretty reliable. As a Mac user, it is a little clunky. My recommendation is to reformat the drive to the Apple filesystem and not to run the default Windows (NTFS) configuration that it comes with. The drive comes with a Mac app that lets you read NTFS on macOS (which is a great thing to get if you use a lot of Windows machines on your network), but the software is slow and buggy.

Now I can play my xbox games in my living room or in my bedroom without having to store the game in the console just plug and play.

2 tb on Xbox was just not enough for me, after a few weeks of going over it i decided to go with this powered one instead of the more portable versions that just need the USB part, Im glad I did is actually running faster than the internal hdd on my Xbox one s plus i now have 7TB of space only like 6.3 usable but still great buy and really great price

5TB storage for the price was a steal! Got this on sale and it is perfect. As a photographer I use is to store my RAW files. Runs quick and quiet.

Best Buy wants me to review this drive. Honestly, I bought it after a series of WD My Passport drives had died on me. I haven't had this drive long enough to really review it, but it seems to work fine at the moment.

I absolutely love how this ones flat! I specifically purchased this to back up my files and I'm loving the speed. Definitely worth the amount paid.

Using this for backup only - copy and then disconnect. Drive tends to make 'click' noises when left attached .. so may not work for you as a perm attached drive.

Very large amount of memory. Super easy to install on Xbox One.
