Easy to setup with great backup software at a very good price.

Easy to set up and lots of storage to backup important files

I now have 11 of this hard drive that I use as primary and backup to primary hard drives. I also have 3 of the pocket hard drives that I put projects on for outside the office. So far no failures since 2012 when I bought my first pare. Unfortunately is appears that Best Buy no longer carries them in my store. Had to buy an WD last week.

I found the setup very easy and straight forward. However if you plan to use as an active storage device I would find a drive that is faster.

This couldn't have been easier to set up and the storage space is amazing for the price. I still remember when it was about 100.00/TB. Now at this price you really can't go wrong with this size or bigger depending on your needs. I already had a 750GB from back when things were more expensive. As it filled, I was pleased as punch to find this.

Since I am not addicted to my computer this is the perfect solution at a lower price for having an external backup for both computer and phone. It's still small enough to store in fireproof box and is able to not just back up files, but also operating system and phone.

I haven't experiences any issues so far, though this drive a bit more expensive than purchasing a hard drive enclosure and putting your own drive inside.

This works great with my apple backups. No issues in connections or speed. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quality storage drive.

Great ext hd for backup or media, usb3 fast, small.

Nothing could be more simple to set-up and install. Connected by USB 3.0 to a Nighthawk X4S router, backups are automatic and secure. The capacity is huge, but the footprint is quite small. The included software set up the backup plan with no issues of any kind. Daily backups ensure all the data is there should anything happen to the PC.

Easy to partition. I used part of it as a programmed backup through Time Machine and the other part for drag-and-drop file archiving. It's a little on the heavy side for toting around, but the size of this drive at the price I got it for was too good to pass up.

This drive is working fine so far. Plenty of room for whatever you need to store or backup. Very quiet also.

I like the backup with personal cloud, but the access and remote isnt that great. The dashboard seems to take to much of my computers processor use S I get high use alarms attribute to the dashboard.

It was recommended by a few co-workers and I'm glad I got it. I now have a clean computer and barely put a dent in the storage unit

This external hard drive doesn't turn on unless you connect it to PC or Mac with power connected. Where is my old one always spins.
