It is fast and work as expected. I use this hard disk to save my videos and to edit videos directly from it and I have no problem.

Bought this drive without knowing much about except that Seagate is a great brand. It met my expectations and looks very nice.

It's the best bang for the buck and it performs well.

It has always been important to me to keep all my media backed up. My old drive had been full for weeks and I knew I needed a new drive with more capacity. After doing some research I opted for this one and it has been great. At the time it was on sale and well, it's 5gb so it will be a while before I have to purchase another one.

I've always had Seagate for more than 5 years now since it hasn't failed me yet so far. My only problem with backing up is their downloadable software which is very slow and not very much reliable since it keeps on making an error and stops the back-up program. I wish they can make their software better with less bugs or glitches.

Typical Seagate! Never buy the other brands! Lots of Photo editing space with USB 3.0 you hardly see lag time!Sleak black case!

I used this drive to consolidate three smaller external drives. Works just as advertised.

Use this for transporting virtual machines between sites and it works a treat. Typical usb 3 speeds and a good price and warranty.

So far I have had no issues with the hard drive. I bought this to load my go pro videos because I ran out of room on my desktop.

Purchased this drive for a backup to my photo drive and have no complaints. Fast transfer to the drive makes it a great buy!

I love this external hdd! It is easy to connect and use. Transfer data fast. Only issue i have with it is it dont have an on/off switch so once pluged into the computer it is always on. i wanted to connect it to the back of my desktop and leave it connected at all times but cannot do that because of no on/off switch.

I bought quite a few of these at Christmas time. One has failed already.... Overall tho, nice price for a 5 TB drive even though it it somewhat bulky.

I bought these external hard drives when they were on sale. the price per GB was a great deal . the device is quick and transfer rates are ok as long as you are using USB3 . would recommend

Seagate is a good backup. I have yet to have any problems with it. I recommend this to anyone backing up a lot of images.

Works great, speedy. I use if for streaming movies via plex and other media.. No issues even with multiple streams. Came with 2 years of one drive (which I pay $6.99 a month for) so I used code, and canceled my subscription to onedrive but still have the 200gb... So will save me more than the $120 I spent over 2 years.

I do not Ike the software that came with it. I deleted it and formatted it for my Mac. Works excellent.
