I bought this hard drive because I needed another drive on which to keep my movie & tv show collections, as well as a back up for my main drive. I have bought multiple Seagate drives and have had little to no problem with them. I will almost certainly buy another Seagate when, not if, this drive needs to be replaced with a larger one.

I previously used Western Digital, but all 3 of those drives crashed with all the stuff I saved to them. Switched to Seagate and am very pleased. Will buy another Seagate external drive so I will have 2 backups. Thanks Seagate for a great product.

I got this for school so that I could back up my files and save my research papers and it has worked great! I use it to save other files on there rather than saving it on my computer. I love it and wouldn't trade it in for any other model.

I have found this ExHD to function as I expected. I do not trust the cloud and this unit works well as a storage device for any of my files. It also doubles as a movie archive that simply needs to be plugged in by USB to my TVs to access them.

Purchased this to give the Xbox 1 additional game storage. You don't have to delete older games to install your new games anymore. Over 30 games are stored and there is more memory than will ever be used up. An excellent buy for our needs.

No brainer installation. Great drive that gives needed space to Xbox One.

I haven't had any problems with the drive. I haven't found it to be the fastest USB 3.0 drive I've dealt with, but it does the job.

I needed two external hard drives... these have met the need.

I got this hard drive to store the raw files from my GoPro. It has plenty of writing speed to transfer the videos from my computer.

Hooked this up to a viewtv converter box,to record over the air TV. Works great and HDMI out gives a quality picture. This drive will record hundreds of hours of HDTV. It's small profile is great and remains hidden. Excellent product.

This drive was spot on both in price and performance.

The mission is to back up years of very large .mov video files. Went back and purchased a second drive just for jpg files. Because they lay flat and stacks I think it will be a better experience then previous desktop external drives.

It does the job. Just what I expected. I am able to get a lot done with the extra storage.

So far no problem. I use it for music. Movies. Vídeos and I keep all my documents on it. I alwaus backup my files on a weekly basis well thats just in case.
