A dependable, vary high capacity external hard drive for backing up photos and important documents. I needed something tangible for quick access in addition to the online back up system I am subscribed to. And excellent product.

I really like the drive. It holds tons of pictures and other data files.

Purchased it because my computer was starting to go slow and not working as well and I know I have to replace it soon but didn't want to loose the pictures and some music I had on it. Moved that to this and it worked good and now I know that I will have these pics and music even if my computer dies at any point.

A must have! I always want a backup of a backup just to make sure!

So far so good. It holds all my data very well. Zero issues with startup or overheating. It turn on and off automatically with my PC. You can download additional software for it if you wish. Great but & lots of space!

More than enough room for my current needs. Used as a full system back up as well as backing up other externals. The only thing that would make this thing a 6 out of 5 stars would be if it had a Thunderbolt 2.0 port also on it.

The drive is good for storing video files but lags a but when trying to keep up while editing files with high data rates.

I like the quickness to transfer my files, I have my music movies photos and more

I bought this as an external drive for my Xbox One. It's worked great so far, giving me plenty of extra storage and it's a little quicker than the Xbox's internal drive.

Seagate external hard drive has plenty of storage but they do tend to break easily

With it being only 10 dollars more than the 4TB I could not resist. IT is a very solid drive and enough capacity to hold all the videos I edit and photography I shoot. This drive should last me 5 years of photography storage.

Good back up as a regular drive and as a back up with the software

I like that it will do a full back up and then every time I plug it in it makes a new folder with the changes only.
