Lots of capacity, works well

I just wanted an extra large one for videos. It did take a whole day to save about 3TBs of files onto it, using USB 2.0, but that is not the fault of the HD.

Excellent and Cheap!

Great external hard drive

This is a USB 3.0 drive and includes a USB 3.0 cable. Would recommend for anyone that has run out of drive space or needs a 2nd drive for backups.

Good solid discs

Seagate was able to recover the data and gave us a new drive under warranty - though they did charge for the data recovery. We find them to be more stable than other major brands like Toshiba and Western Digital

I am in a Mac, and this thing does occasionally need to reconnect because it has an additional reader program that it comes with, but otherwise a nice find!
