Lifesaver

I use this for online video editing for television shows and commercials and it has been a blessing to my workflow. I plan on buying a few more. Perfect for archive backups of projects as well. Five Stars Seagate - Five Stars.

The only issue I have had is the power supply, not so robust cable has torn due to wear and tear and not covered by warranty... Other than its slight heavy to be portable it's a great drive!

Seagate Backup Plus

Then would not allow me to set it up as default. Worked after disconnecting other backup device. The Seagate Dashboard does not recognize other brands, and it also freezes at times. I've had good experience with Seagate until I purchased this one. A bit disappointed.

I still have 4 internal drives (two sets of mirrors) that are 1TB each and they have been running flawlessly for about 8 years. This drive is faster than I expected, with it being a 5TB drive. It's also very quiet.
