This hard drive is working perfectly for what I need it to do. I've had this HD for a few months now and its response time is great and all my data is there when I need it. A+

I've been using this product for a couple months now. No problems so far, I like its speed so far. I'm using this to store my DVD collection I've been moving to digital.

Took a bit to get setup and use as an external hard drive. Not sure how to setup as a Time Machine backup. Checked to do this later when connected to computer but have no idea how to do this nor does it appear to give a me a new option to do so.

I bought this HD to store my data. Completely satisfied with my purchase. HD does however have some sharp edges but as long as you don't touch it often it should be good.

Good product. Has separate power supply so could limit portability, but better to have that than depend needing 2 usb ports, which some laptops do not have enough.

Great hard drive and durable! I bought a different brand and it crapped out on me in 8-9 months. I have another HDD of this brand and its still working after 4 years.

originally, I purchased this for my son's storage, but he is using it for active scoring and cleaning. It seems to be working well for him. The data speed could be better for the application, but prices are higher for faster speeds.

Seagate makes durable hard drives, still using go-flex 2tb but getting close to full of vacation photos. HD prices have come down some over the years. Not really a fan of their backup software. Will try it for a while. Sync Toy works good.

Use out of the box, fast data transfer for storage in your own hands, not out on a cloud somewhere where God knows who has access to your data. Needs a front panel operation/power light rather than the little thing on top you can not see. mb

I plugged in my new Seagate drive and was backing up my complete laptop in less than five minutes... Love the true "plug and play" capability of this product.

I bought this product for my nephew who lives in Addis Ababa Ethiopia I think he likes the back up plus Internet extender he is using it well for his business.

Since we are buying about two per month, it is distressing to think we maybe should buy insurance on them as well. But most of them have worked fine so far. It's that one defective drive we just discovered that's now making me nervous.

I've taken this drive and added it to my network router for additional network storage. So far I have been pleased with the speed of the drive and the ability to access it over the network, and it has worked well for me.

He was super excited and loves the new hard drive. He is a photographer and is always running out of space so it was a must buy for the price as well.

Hi. I purchased this hard drive for use with my xbox one. Works as expected. Speed id fine.

We bought the backup for storage of pictures and videos of our family. There are no directions that come with the unit. Had to utilize online hints to use it, was very disappointed. Still not sure we are doing it correctly.

I purchased this 5tb hard drive during Thanksgiving and of all the competetors I got it for a less amount in bestbuy only...I am very happy with this purchase

I partitioned this drive with Windows NTFS, Mac, and Linux partitions and it works perfectly. I used it to make backup copies of my hard drives.

Purchased same item a year ago and have been very happy. Before this purchase again comparison shopped and returned for a second unit.

It is an external hard drive that has always worked very well I have bought several and I have always worked well, speed 3.0 very good
