Not for a newbie

The instructions that come with it and online do not match the interfaces that actually open on the device. I got this for external backup. I managed to accidentally back up my computer but completely filled up the drive with multiple backups that it won't let me delete. This is probably obvious to someone more savvy, but it's been very frustrating for me.

easy setup slightly missleading image

However, in the images on the package it shows the hard drive operating without being plugged in, but in reality the hard drive must be plugged into both a wall outlet and your computer/laptop in order to back up files. Slightly inconvenient, but if you have no problem with that then this hard drive is wonderful.
