Second time I bought this product and it's good...

Very simple to use and has a whole lot of storage.

Drive works just fine with Windows 10 system. Backups are working.

only had it for a few weeks but no complaints.seems to work ok

The price, capacity and wireless download feature appealed to me, but unfortunately required too much memory for my iMac to handle. With the help of Apple Support, I was able to delete the storage manager software that accompanied the device and now my computer runs great - again.

I have several of these and needed one more. Too often they detach from my computer for no given reason. I have to un-plug the cables wait 1/2 minute, then plug them in, and then the computer lists the hard drive again. Other than this problem, they work all right. the problem happens about every few weeks.

This drive was a great value for 5TB--and since I planned to use it connected to my AirPort Time Capsule as home-network storage, being pre-formatted for Mac was a plus. The first time I connected it to the AirPort, transfer times were surprisingly slow, but it worked. Unfortunately, every time after that, my AirPort COMPLETELY stopped functioning until this drive was disconnected--wifi unavailable, status light flashing yellow, not visible in AirPort Utility, and soft/hard resets not making any difference. Fortunately, it always starts working again immediately after disconnecting the drive. At the price, I won't complain about having to connect it directly to the computer--but it's disappointing that it doesn't seem to play well with AirPort. (If anyone has suggestions that get it working, I'll gladly update my review.)

This is by far the best looking external hard drive I have ever bought. The metal body really matches when pairing it with a time capsule or a Macbook. Works on Windows too so I can easily throw files on it no matter where I am.

For the money, its a good value. Not sure if it's due to the formatting the drive comes with, but it seems exceedingly slow at copying files from my Mac Pro tower. Being that the tower doesn't have usb 3, I am stuck with USB 2.

We have been buying Seagate's drives for years now. As a photographer we go through lots of data management. Bg files and lots of data. These are our go to for back up.

I use these drives to transfer my 4k footage from the SDXC cards to the hard drive. I then transcode in ProRes to a Thunderbolt drive for editing. The USB 3 interface is too slow for smooth 4k editing.

I put all my videos and photos on this hard drive. Performs well and transfers files fast with the USB 3.0. I see myself buying another one in the future.

as described. setup was simple and easy. product works great for my needs and would recommend it to anyone!

If you don't need a portable hard drive than this is perfect. Has been reliable and pretty fast.

Simple and easy to setup. I like how slim the device is. Fast transfer as well.

The unit is used for storage of photos. It is very portable and easy to use.

This is my second hard drive. The other one looked and worked just fine.

Relatively quick and reliable backups - great tool.
