Confusing
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did a backup from my Mac to the external hard drive. Now I can not figure out how to look at my pictures on it. I did the backup through the Time Machine on my computer and can't find them.

Not compatible with iMac
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.When I connected the Seagate external drive via USB to my iMac, no prompts were provided to facilitate the connection. The Seagate customer service representative was not familiar with Apple products and was not able to assist me in resolving my connection problem. I returned the Seagate external drive in exchange for a G Technology external drive.

Great external HDD for Macbook

This is my third Seagate HDD - this was purchased to use as a backup in office away from home. Works great for time machine backups. Quick and reliable!

Didn't Work w Network iMac

Downloaded seatgate file software for Mac-pc issues, still no go. Lots of restarts and tinkering made no difference, returned the same day. May work great hooked directly to Mac or for PC network but not for my network w Macs...
