This is my second seagate, so I lknew.what I was buying was reliable. Perfect for my needs, and the price was right.

The Seagate Backup is extremely convenient.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Be sure the Seagate model under consideration is "STDR 100010" and includes built-in software to perform prompted backup. Although it may appear identical and cheaper, model "STDR 100001" offered by an online source did not provide the menu for backup and create a system image. The Seagate Backup Plus Slim 1 TB external hard drive is also called "Dashboard", and conveniently plugs into both a USB 3.0 and a 2.0 port on the PC. My first backup of 72 GB took one hour using a 2.0 USB connection.
