Decent backup drive for price; sub-par software

None was provided with the drive itself, and the Dashboard Agent that is downloadable from the Seagate website performs continuous and scheduled backups - but neither backs up in a user-friendly format, where My Computer (Explorer) can be used to recover files one-by-one, such as with a drop-and-drag process).
