Great backup drive for all applications

Excellent portable drive

At $50 for the 1 TB, it was an excellent value, too. If you need more room (and who doesn't?) consider the 2 TB drive for not a whole lot more.

I works really fast, doesn't heat up much, and is ready to go out of the box - what you expect from a hard drive. Only problem - not really a major one - is the cable. It is unique for Seagate so if you lose it or something happens, you have to get it from them. You can't just use a std USB or Mini-USB for connect to the Hard Drive.
