Very good portable for a 1TB drive

Good except for that connector

I was able to do this quickly and successfully. The drive is really speedy utilizing the USB 3.0. However, the newer USB 3.0 connection became loose after a week of use. Eventually, my computer wouldn't recognize the drive unless I pressed the connector firmly into the drive. After some thought, I moved the back-up files back to my computer and returned the unit to Best Buy. I would purchase this again only if the connector issue is addressed. Maybe recess the connector into the unit? That way it won't move back and forth so easily...weakening the connection. If this issue is fixed, it could be a fantastic drive for the price.

Fast & Dependable

With USB3.0 they are super fast and always ready to work for me. I do a lot of photography in family photo archiving and preservation, other commercial imagery, and personal nature photography. I haven't had one fail me yet or even give a hint of reduced performance. I'll quit using them when they fail to serve me consistently.
