I bought this hard drive to back up all of my data from a windows machine to convert to a mac. however, I can't back up my mac to it with out reformatting the drive. Anyway, it was easy, simple, plug and play which was exactly what I was looking for.

Was worth the money. Does pc and Apple, if I remember right. Wasn’t the cheapest thing in the world, but worth every penny when backing up your files.

Lots of storage space small design for such a large amount of storage. Great price.

Can never go wrong with a seagate drive. I got this on Black Friday for such a good price. It was even better than costcos price. Setup with time machine on my Mac.

Easy setup and portability. Very fast data transfer. Bought several for work forensics exercise. Hopefully won't need any more but if so will definitely consider these.

As an external drive, it is easy to set up and easy to use. This product replaces an earlier one of the same manufacturer that stopped functioning.

Been looking for an external drive for a while and after reading reviews for the Seagate BackUp Plus Slim 1TB I decided to order it. Got it in 2 days and by end of that day I has backed up all of the pictures and videos from my laptop. Very easy setup!

After having our computer take a dump on us and losing so many pictures and videos, we got this to back all them up. Its easy to use, plug and play

this hard drive has backed up my computer several times and I feel like I can trust it to retain my files. plus being a consumer electronics award winner doesn't hurt!

I did have an issue getting it to download the drivers, but it worked after a couple of tries. Must have been my missing something. But, backs up my laptop every week.

Easy to install , directions clear and concise. I did have some issues but they were computer related, not device related. Right amount of storage for my needs.

This seems to be a very good product. It did what it was suppose to do with no problems. Easy to set up dashboard. Price was right. I think I will buy me another one.

We bought this for my older son. He ran out of room on his Xbox One so he asked for an external storage device. This worked perfectly with the Xbox One and it was super easy to install. It hold so much! But, if I had to do it over I would have bought a 2TB because my son refuses to delete anything. 1TB is more than enough but if you hate to erase anything maybe get the 2TB

I used this drive to backup my files from a Mac to be used on a PC. I was able to download a driver from Seagate that allowed my Mac to copy files to the drive without formatting to a Mac file system. This was very nice, since I was able to backup my files and still have a Windows file system on the Drive. The drive works well, without any unnecessary attempts to put the company's software on my computer automatically. They offer backup software, but it isn't forced down your throat. It is very fast when using a USB 3 port on the computer. The included cable is short, but it gets the job done.

Bought it at a great price; brought it home; plugged it in; worked perfectly. Still working perfectly. My only regret is that I should have purchased TWO of them!!
