I bought this to carry my overly large iTunes library - I transferred all my music from my desktop to this little portable USB 3 - 1 Terabyte drive as I'm over the 500 gigs of my old drives I used for backup - now I have my iTunes library and my photo library on the same drive and the internal drive on my laptop is only 256gigs so my 48 gigs of photos and 580 gigs of music are portable and saves me a bunch of space internally on the laptop

This is one of the slimmest portable hard drives available, short of going to solid state. You would be hard pressed to find a better portable drive, especially for the money. I have had bad experiences with WD drives in the past but have never had a Seagate fail on me. This influenced my purchase and the supper slim wallet size design plus the matte black finish make for a great mobile drive. I absolutely will purchase another one.

I purchased one of these for myself a few months ago because - as I'm sure a lot of people struggle with - my devices were becoming too full of pictures, so I needed to buy a backup device that holds A LOT of stuff. This terabyte ext hard drive has given me no problems and is highly rated on the internet. I have no complaints and am so happy that I now have more space on my devices and that my pictures are safely stored forever. :)

This back up drive was simple to set up and load. It works with a PC or Mac without difficulty. The fact that it is small and compact is both good since it is easy to store and not so good since it will be easy to lose. I was able to organize all my documents, folders and music which easily fit on this drive with plenty of room to spare.

I love this harddrive. It is compact, lightweight, runs cool and quiet and offers lots of storage for $75!

To put it simply, a terabyte is all anyone should need for their documents, and probably more than enough in most cases. On top of that, I have even run games off of the external hard drive and it works great. And as an added bonus you are able to send files to the drive remotely from other devices because of Seagate's cloud technology

I was looking for a portable hard drive, this is a perfect compact drive at a very good price.

Recently switched jobs, and traded out my home devices. The Seagate backed up 10 years of work docs., dozens of go pro movies, 2,500 pics, and more than 5k+ songs, from different devices using different platforms. Still used far less than 40% of the memory. Unless you're saving 100's of full length movies, I don't know why you would need any more than the 1T Ultra Slim. PS - just picked up a case for under $10.

Overall, this portable harddrive is a great tool that functions quickly. it is only slightly bigger than a deck of cards and less than half the thickness. The grey sheen cover is attractive and the single light gives of an impressive look. My only complaint is that there are no feet or rubber grips on the underside of the harddrive and so it easily slides around on a smooth surface and if you are not careful you could easily knock it off a table or counter. The fact that this comes with 200 GB of cloud storage through Microsoft's OneDrive is the icing on the cake.

This thing is my life when it comes to school. It holds four years of college pdf textbooks, research papers, music, and random files. It still has not made a dent in the storage space. It looks like I did not use any storage at all. It's slim, so I can carry it in my backpack. It's not hard to misplace or anything. It's worth buying instead of the small USB's. Get this instead because it will last longer.

The install was easy to setup and the weight and thiness was ideal for cluttered desk.

This drive worked-out so well for me I decided to pick-up another to give as a gift. The small form factor is great! Along without needing a separate power supply, and being relatively lightweight, it's very portable to boot. Unless you are certain you'll need more GBs, or otherwise have the money to spend on a larger size drive, 1TB should be plenty space for the average user, don't hesitate.

This drive is perfect for pulling apart and upgrading your PS4 drive. It's actually a pretty decent Samsung drive inside the enclosure, It's been working prefect. If you're careful when opening it you can use transgress an enclosure for the old PS4 drive too.

My laptop is on its way out and I have a lot of files on my desktop, so I needed to purchase an external hard drive to back up my files. I picked this Seagate product and I am happy with it. Reasonable price and very simple to use. I befuddle quickly when using complex computer setups, but I did not experience that a all with thiis product. Great for beginner or casual computer user.

Very small but holds lots of data. Easy to carry with you. Great little unit.
