Have used Seagate drives for quite some time now. I can't remember ever having a problem with one. This purchase was to give to a friend and transfer a large number of files. I still use WindowsXP Pro and it was recognized with no problem. I have also connected to my Win7Pro machine and it worked great there. I have one I purchased about 2 years ago and that one is still going strong. I would say this is a good drive for the $.

I needed the extra storage space for my ps4, and this got the job done.

New version of Seagate backup plus. Just bought it, gotta see how it perform in the long run. But so far so good, very light which is a plus, very quiet, try opening a video file directly from the hardrive and it starts rather pretty quick.

This was an awesome purchase! I was running out of memory on my PS4 and this gave 4x more space to download the large games with heavy graphics - and I didn't have to keep deleting older or in-progress games to make room on my HD. Highly recommend this product. Great price.

She was happy with drive.just what she asked for. Was a Christmas present. Play alot of games .So space was very much needed. And price was right. We would recommend this drive if you are looking for more space weather it be school or for your gaiming time.

I purchased this mainly to back up photos which I find I've stored on various computers, online sites. I wanted 1 place to have everything. It was extremely easy to use and seemed to do the transfer (of many gigs of data) very quickly.

Easy to use, great as a full system backup, and has tons of extra room for almost anything you want to save. Fast transfer rates with my MacPro, highly portable, silent operation, and certainly cost effective.

I like to different color and front cover material. Helps to keep hard drive from slipping.

It seems like a reliable ssd. However, it has an issue with not powering down when I try to "remove" it from my PC. That is my only complaint.
